Agricultural Marketing
All the major Acts and Rules that have been passed by the Government of India in this sector since Independence have been listed here. Each of the Acts and Rules, here, can be found in their entirety. These are:
- Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955)
- Meat Food Products Order1973 was Notified in the Extraordinary Gazette of India Part II, Section 3, Sub section (ii)
- Agriculture Produce
- Agriculture Produce (Grading & Marking)Act,1937 (Act No1 of 1937)as Amended Up to 1986
- General Grading & Marking Rules 1988
All these major Acts and Rules had brought a revolution to the agricultural sector and the producers were benefited to a great extent by means of gradual amendments to the marketing.
Mechanization and Technology
One can find here all the Acts and Rules that have been passed by the Government of India with respect to Mechanization and Technology. These are:
- Dangerous Machines (Regulation) Act, 1983
- Dangerous Machines (Regulation) Rules, 2007
- Central Rules, Namely the Dangerous Machines (Regulation) Rules, 1984
These Acts and Rules had helped the Agricultural sector grow in manifolds. This also enabled the sector to match its steps with the Industrial Revolution.
Plant Protection
All the Acts and Rules that have been passed by the Government of India since Independence to the recent times have been listed here. Fertilizers
Fertilizers hold the key to a good crop production as it comprehensively nourishes the soil as well as the crops. Mentioned below is the order passed by the government of India so as to improve the condition of agricultural sector with help of the fertilizers. This order has done a world of good for the growth of agricultural sector with respect to fertilizers.

Horticulture
Below mentioned are the acts and rules issued by the Government of India in order to promote the Horticulture sector.
Coconut Development Board Act, (CDB) Act. 5 of 1979

Implementation of these Acts and Rules has done a miracle for the Horticulture sector bringing in ample livelihood opportunities and improving the economic conditions of the farmers.
Cooperation
There was a time when the agricultural producers did not use to get the due price for their output. But with the establishment of the marketing cooperatives for such producers in other countries, the need for a similar revolution in this sector was inevitable. The Government of India passed various Acts and Rules in this sector that have been listed here.
